Building Update!

We have been witnessing the construction of the upcoming Broadway Building for some time now. And you have the same questions we all do: How much longer until we can move in?!

Sitting around the corner from me, Mike Oaksmith, Managing Partner at Hunters Capital, is the man with the answer, "We are bout 75% complete," said Oaksmith. "We broke ground in October 2008 with our contractor W.G. Clark and anticipate opening the doors on April 3, 2010." Here is a preview of what is to come:

The building colors were chosen "based on the warm complementing colors taken from the Performing Arts Center across the street on Broadway and the Parkscape to the eastern side with a touch of red," says Oaksmith.

Welcome Insiders to The Broadway Building Blog

As our building progresses further and further, it gets harder for us, Hunters Capital, the team behind the building, to contain our excitement! We would like to introduce the wonderfully unique Broadway Building as a stand out with something for everyone. We've taken the mixed use concept and ran with it, starting with retail storefronts on Broadway, second floor boutique commercial office spaces and topping the building off with over 90 apartment units consisting of 36 different floor plans. Catch on to the buzz as we get ready to launch this highly anticipated building.

The Broadway Building is located in the heart of Capitol Hill — bridging the gap between Pike Pine neighborhood and Broadway and is scheduled for completion on March 31, 2010.
